Dendrocronologia dell'età del Bronzo in Italia settentrionale : stato dell'arte e aggiornamenti
P. 431-439
The Author illustrates the results from dendrochronological analysis carried out on samples coming from Bronze Age pile-dwelling sites in northern Italy. Most of them derives from the elaboration of two regional oak chronologies for the region of the Lake Garda: GARDA1 (2204 – 1829 cal BC) and GARDA 3 (1897 – 1678 cal BC). Some site chronologies, not cross-dated against the mean chronologies, because of the different geographical location, or because of the different chronological relevance of the settlement, were dated by means of independent wiggle-matches. As a whole the available felling dates go from the beginning of the 21st century BC to the second half of the 14th century BC. [Publisher's text]
