Politico e/o agente terzo : i possibili ruoli del valutatore
145-162 p.
The article, "The possible roles of the evaluator between political and third party agent role", starts from the contribution by Guba e Lincoln on the function of the evaluation and from a case-study direct observations. Its goal is to explore and analyse the role of evaluation in relation to the organizational context in which the experts operate. The evaluator acts with more or less power depending on the position occupied within the organization, not only at the design level, but also at the community one, which is affected by cultural, political and economic effects of evaluation. The case study accounts the "multiple" function of the evaluator and an important political dimension, which is something more than, or different from, the role of facilitator. The connections that emerge from the analysis between evaluation and organization inspire a further study of the role of the evaluator in different contexts, from public to private ones, taking into account the organizational position of the evaluator.
