Viene descritto in dettaglio un progetto di teaching hospital che fu presentato nel 1966 dal "Gruppo Milanese per lo Sviluppo della Psicoterapia" (che dagli anni 1970 prese il no-me di Psicoterapia e Scienze Umane) e che fu poi attuato nel 1967 all'Ospedale Psichiatrico Pro-vinciale di Sondrio, diretto da Mario Declich. Viene anche discusso il contesto storico e culturale della psichiatria italiana degli anni 1960 e il problema, molto sentito, della formazione degli psi-chiatri. [Testo dell'editore].

After a brief introduction by Pier Francesco Galli, Bianca Ceresara Declich describes in detail a project of teaching hospital that was presented in 1966 by the "Milan Group for the Advancement of Psychotherapy" (that in the 1970s took the name of Psicoterapia e Scienze Umane [Psychotherapy and the Human Sciences]) and imple-mented in 1967 at the Psychiatric Hospital of Sondrio (Italy), directed by Mario Declich.
