Sistema, circolo e aporia : il problema del cominciamento del filosofare nell'ultimo Fichte
177-198 p.
System, Circle and Aporia. The Problem of the Beginning of Philosophizing in Late Fichte. The problem of the beginning of philosophizing assumes in Fichte a completely percussive aspect because it depends directly on the radicalism of his concept of transcendental philosophy. The circular and reflexive structure that Fichte attributes to the transcendental investigation seems indeed to imply that we can begin to philosophize only if we have already begun. Fichte's reflection on this subject undergoes a significant and radical development in the Berlin years. Nevertheless, Fichte does not deal comprehensively with this aporia and therefore does not solve it.
The purpose of this contribution is to try to establish whether it remains effectively unresolved in Fichte's thinking, undermining the latter's logical consistency, or whether his invitation to "cut the knot" of the beginning at the practical level has a properly theoretical meaning, from which it follows that the aporia is mere appearance.
