Momenti di contaminazione e figure della spettacolarizzazione della disabilità, tra immaginario pop e industria culturale : il Circo Barnum, Joker e gli X-Men
30-43 p.
The article aims to investigate three stages of diversity-disability's spectacularisation in the field of cultural and media industry. The Barnum Circus, the Joker (the Batman's antagonist) and the saga of the X-Men: three forms of cultural consumption which go through symbolic landscapes of modernity and postmodernity. On methodological point ofview, the article utilizes approaches coming from sociology of culture and discourse analysis. The author would like to highlight the structural ambiguities which distinguish the disability's aestheticization process, trying to demonstrate that they, finally, after a long and complicated path, however, led to humanize and to set off the diversity.
