Il tessuto economico-produttivo tra le cause dell'anomalia lombarda : uno studio comparato sulla prima diffusione del Covid-19 in Italia
164-180 p.
The Covid-19 pandemic strongly hit Northern Italy. In particular, Lombardy has been one of the Italians (and European) regions registering a dramatic number of deaths and infections during the so called "first phase". This paper aims at descriptively assessing whether a correlation between the Covid-19 epidemic and Lombardy's economic productive field is ongoing. In order to do so, a comparison with other two Italian regions (Lazio and Campania) will be presented. The analysis shows a strong relation among the infection diffusion and the number of open companies and active workers during the Italian lockdown. This seems to be one of the determinants that caused the so called "Lombard anomaly". [Publisher's Text].
