Disciplinary Identity and Isis

As the Co-Editors for the History of Science Society, we have a unique vantage point from which to observe new and long-term trends in the field of history of science. In this piece, we offer an overview of what we believe to be the status and disciplinary identity of the field. We also offer some thoughts on where we anticipate the field of the history of science is going and some developments we find especially exciting. [Publisher's text]
