Per una definizione populista della democrazia costituzionale
140-146 p.
This article deals with populism by addressing it under its constitutional connotations. Populism is a timeless issue, but it has reached a new relevance in last times. The first part of the paper addresses populism from a general perspective, by proposing a counterposition between populism and liberal democracy, whilst the last part aims at outlining the characteristics of a so-called 'populist' constitutionalism, as opposed to the liberal-democratic constitutionalism. Eventually, the article proposes a brief reflection about the risks of a populist drift in contexts of 'pseudo-democracies'. [Publisher's text].
