This paper presents an analysis of the phenomenon of human beings' 'trafficking', proposing a method which moves from the concrete and model stories of some real persons, in order to overturn the perspective of 'human wastes', on the basis of the human dignity. Reasoning on the devices which create vulnerability, the author offers some possible strategies in order to «break the chains». [Publisher's text].
