Un écovillage dans la ruralité québécoise : l'innovation territoriale, entre marginalité et droit à l'espace

2017 - Franco Angeli

65-86 p.

While austerity policies threaten the development model in Quebec, some peripheral areas retain territorial innovation and resilience capacities. This survey focuses on an ecovillage in the rural Eastern Quebec, which expresses a project to inhabit a territory, as opposed to a spatial occupation for economic purposes. More specifically, the ecovillage is a movement of territorial appropriation that is simultaneously socio-economic, political and social, which daily builds a "right to inhabit". [Publisher's Text].
