Governance urbana del food system : un'introduzione al dibattito

The paper offers a broad literature review about food planning, a new field of inquiry getting popular among urban scholars in Italy after Milan Expo 2015. It provides a set of definition of food planning, from the international debate, and explores the complex relation between food system and the city. It then focuses on food urban policies providing examples of policy implementation, both in Italy and abroad, and features main actors already involved or to be involved.
