Musicoterapia e intersoggettivita : premesse teorico-applicative e strumenti di ricerca

La prospettiva intersoggettiva, sviluppatasi sul finire del secolo scorso negli Stati Uniti, pone particolare attenzione alla comunicazione non verbale presente nell'interazione paziente / psicoanalista. E' soprattutto attraverso essa che avrebbero luogo i momenti trasformativi presenti all'interno di qualunque tipo di trattamento psicoterapeutico, secondo un procedere co-costruito dalla diade. Si tratta di un modo d'intendere la relazione - e lo scambio al suo interno - che trova a nostro avviso un significativo ambito applicativo in musicoterapia, in particolare laddove la si utilizzi secondo una modalità improvvisativa. Il presente contributo intende mostrare l'origine e gli sviluppi in atto all'interno di tale approccio musicoterapeutico, evidenziandone le intersezioni con il frame concettuale costituito dalla teoria dell'intersoggettività. Particolare attenzione sarà data agli strumenti di ricerca sviluppati dagli autori ed atti a valutare alcuni fondamentali parametri presenti all'interno delle sedute m

usicoterapeutiche: in particolare, quello di sintonizzazione. Ci auguriamo in questo modo di dare un contributo nel quale la clinica, anche in ambito musicoteraputico, sia supportata da utili evidenze empiriche.

Music Therapy and Inter-subjectivity: theory, applications and research tools. The inter-subjective framework, developed towards the end of the 20th century in the U.S., focuses on the non-verbal communication aspects within the patient-psychoanalyst interaction. These aspects, mutually shaped by the patient-psychoanalyst dyad, allow change to happen within any kind of psychotherapy treatment. This specific focus on the patient-psychoanalyst relationship appears to be particularly suited to applications in the field of Music Therapy, especially when musical improvisation is chosen as the main approach. This contribution aims at highlighting both the origins and current developments of the Music Therapy within clinical practice, focusing on the intersections with the framework of inter-subjective theory. In particular, we will discuss research tools developed by the authors and aimed at evaluating some key parameters of Music Therapy sessions, and in particular that of attunement.
