La sicurezza energetica nel quadro della Strategia UE per la regione Adriatico-Ionica

This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the energy security in the Adriatic-Ionic Region. In order to clarify the concept of the energy security, the author examines the EU official documents and approaches of different researchers, analyzes existing indicators of energy security. In the second part the author studies the development of gas market in the Adriatic-Ionic Region as an essential element of energy security. Particularly, the role of competing projects of gas pipelines in the provision of gas security in the Region.
