Representing the know-how acquired in Consulting, Research, Training and Publishing, Formalpress created Media XXI – Consulting, Research and Publishing, a strong brand which aims to convey the company’s market position.
Formalpress/MediaXXI publishes JOCIS - Journal of Creative Industries and Cultural Studies in partnership with IMMAA – International Media Management Academic Association, and in collaboration with CIC.Digital – Centre for Research in Communication, Information and Digital Culture (University of Porto and New University of Lisbon). It is co-directed by Terry Flew (Queensland University of Technology) and Paulo Faustino (University of Porto; Formalpress/Media XXI).
In addition to our long experience in book and magazine publishing, the other fields of activity (research, training, marketing and communication consulting, customer publishing, event management) allow us not only to financially strengthen our business, but also to develop a wide range of skills in content production and publishing.
