Viene pubblicato il "manifesto" che è stato redatto dai 28 partecipanti, provenienti da cinque Paesi europei (Belgio, Francia, Grecia, Italia e Spagna), del Seminario residenziale Young Adults, Mental health and Inclusion (YAMI), tenuto a Bergamo dal 31 ottobre al 5 novembre 2022, finanziato dalla Comunità Europea e organizzato da Shinui (www.shinui.it) di Bergamo (presidente: Cécile Edelstein). I dieci punti di questo manifesto sono i seguenti: promozione del benessere e della qualità della vita; prevenzione; intervento precoce; implementazione di "centri giovanili" o "case aperte"; offerta di un'ampia gamma di opportunità terapeutiche; un trattamento basato su diverse modalità; non c'è cura senza "amore"; gli stessi professionisti della salute mentale dovrebbero ricevere "cur"; finanziamenti adeguati; importanza della ricerca. A "manifesto" written by the 28 participants coming from five European countries (Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, and Spain) of the residential seminar Young Adults, Mental health and Inclusion (YAMI) held in Bergamo (Italy) from October 31 to November 5, 2022, funded by the European Community and organized by Shinui (www.shinui.it) of Bergamo (president: Cécile Edelstein), is published. The ten points of this manifesto are the following: promotion of wellbeing and improvement of quality of life; prevention; early intervention; specific "youth centers" or "open houses"; provision of a wide range of therapeutic opportunities; treatment should be based on different modalities; there is no treatment without "love"; mental health professionals should themselves receive "care"; need of appropriate funding in order to guarantee continuity and variety of care; importance of empirical research.
