Gli effetti della digitalizzazione e delle ICT sulla salute e la sicurezza dei lavoratori : una interpretazione sociologica

The article lists the main effects of the new "Industry 4.0" paradigm on the health and safety of workers and provides a sociological interpretation, on the basis of the utmost recent interna-tional literature. The results highlight how the large-scale diffusion of "smarts factories" is profoundly changing the type and measure of work-related risks: while some of them are de-creasing, new ones are arising. The overall result is not at all obvious and the Social Sciences are just at the beginning of a fundamental critical path on this theme. [Publisher's text].
