Doni nella sabbia : note ai margini del setting
101-115 p.
Is a widespread use that patients, often in the occasion of some particular festivity, bring small presents to therapy. The Author reflects on the psychocultural meanings of this habit. Starting from her personal experience, she confronts different settings with patients with various pathologies, in the deteriorated reality of a Roman suburb, or in the more protected and familiar provincial reality. In the end, she analyzes how the introduction of a setting based on the construction of images, like that of the Sandlplay Therapy, influences the need to offer presents and determines changes in their meaning.
