Fendere la realtà per raggiungerla : i tagli di Fontana e la noia di Moravia : uno sguardo psicoanalitico
137-146 p.
Fontana's art, which is expressed in particular in his famous cuts, constitutes a symbolic attempt to go further, to find new dimensions of expression and meaning for the artist. This is a process necessary for the survival of the artist, which is only possible by exploiting the aggressive and symbolic transformation potential of the unconsciousconscious system of the human being. The interior and artistic journey of the protagonist of the novel La noia of Moravia appears to be similar, even if the two processes diverge in meaning and outcome. In this article the author analyzes the two paths from an existential and psychoanalytic point of view, connecting to some concepts of Freud's and Winnicott's theories. [Publisher's text].
