The essay presents the achievements of the social impact assess-ment process of the project labelled "Molise Verso l'Integrazione". This process, following the logic of the theory-based approach, aimed to known the ex post value of the public-private services aimed at mi-grant users, of the capacity of the operators within the communities concerned, as well as social value of communities in terms of co-construction of reception, through a different way of doing govern-ance.
