Cultura e benessere : il capitale sociale della partecipazione culturale
103-115 p.
The present contribution aims to investigate the correlation between the perception of well-being and the existence of cultural resources referable to the concept of social capital. The problem is to understand if cultural participation can contribute to subjective well-being. The data we collected confirm that members of cultural associations possess high levels of social capital, which is positively correlated with cultural participation. With respect to the perception of well-being, it can be argued that, while the level of satisfaction with one's life correlates with the socio-cultural expectations met, personal fulfillment is more closely linked to human capital.
