This book presents the proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Fracture and Damage Mechanics (FDM), of the 2-4 September 2003, at the Liborianum in Paderborn, Germany.The proceedings cover a wide range of topics in fracture and damage mechanics and bring together researchers and engineers from academia and industry from Europe, Asia and Central and North America.
