The article examines the legal procedures by which a law completely or partiallyloses its effectiveness for the future, or, if flawed, its validity. The first chapterdeals with abrogatio, derogatio, obrogatio: the author analyses the characteristicsof each of them in their actual operativeness and in their relations with thedrafting techniques used by legislators to prevent normative antinomies. Inthe second chapter the author deals with the annulment of laws, examining itsjuridical effects in comparison with those produced by abrogation. [Publisher's text]
