In Margin of Hybrid Archives and integrated Systems
P. 122-135
Why define and describe an archive as hybrid? Haven't archives always been hybrid in terms of media, functionality and purpose? And won't they still be such in the future? Some reflections originate from these questions, starting from the definition and meaning of the term hybrid, the validity of principles and methods of the archival tradition in the digital environment, the organization of archives free from predetermined schemes, the role and activity of the archivist, of archival description and of multidimensional representation in an environment defined as hybrid.
