T. Santorevere (Renato Treves) e Italia Libre : note per una ricerca sull'antifascismo degli esuli italiani in Argentina
187-207 p.
As a result of the racial legislation of 1938, Renato Treves was forced to leave Italy. As refugee in Argentina, he began collaborating in 1941 with the journal Italia Libre, published in Buenos Aires since 1940, as press organ of the homonym anti-fascist political movement. This article particularly focuses on the first contributions offered by Treves to the journal, signed under the pseudonym "T. Santorevere", and devoted to the Italian culture during the years of the fascist regime. More precisely, he dealt with the hard conditioning suffered by the academic community, in the fields of study, different from each other, of legal science and philosophy. The Appendix contains a list of Treves's contributions (and those dedicated to him) published in Italia Libre; it also contains a short polemical writing, intended for the columns of the same journal, which probably remained unpublished for political reasons.
