Catania e le vie del gusto esotico : imprese e consumi alimentari dei cittadini stranieri immigrati
115-129 p.
The article intends to explore the theme of entrepreneurial practices and consumption related to ethnic food in Catania, where some neighbourhoods are now taking multi-ethnic characters. Through a pilot research, using observation moments and interviews with foreign entrepreneurs working in the retail food and restaurants, it attempts to evaluate how the spaces of ethnic trade promote interaction and exchange between indigenous and foreign people in the city.
