La complessità assistenziale : indagine conoscitiva all'interno di un corso di laurea in Infermieristica
137-152 p.
Introduction: Health care organizations are projecting toward nursing models for complex care. This concept has been much debated in literature and it is difficult to find a single definition. Objective: To evaluate the perception/knowledge of nursing students about the concept of complex care as projected to the world of work. Materials and methods: A qualitative approach with the fundamental description method has been used. The sampling took place within a degree curse in nursing. To conduct the study, a questionnaire based on literature, constructed by the research group, has been used.
Results: the investigation has shown that students, even thought being aware of a lack of training on the subject, gave a potential definition of complexity of care by indentifying four main elements that characterize the subject: work; nurse; assisted person and the available resources. The main purpose of the complexity of care is mostly qualitative and is likely to improve care. Conclusion: further studies should be conducted to test student's perception / Knowledge on the subject in order to implement their training on the subject if needed. [Publisher's Text].
