Founded in 1988 with the aim of publishing facsimile editions of music and musicography from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque periods, LIM has developed a solid editorial activity in all branches of music culture and musicology.
LIM's catalogue today collates more than 600 titles that have entered reference sources, ranging from facsimile editions of Ars to the publication of relevant Opera Omnia; from the most up-to date studies on contemporary music to music iconography and ethnomusicology.
