BEHIND THE NAME
Torrossa takes its name from the historic headquarters in Fiesole of Casalini Libri, international bibliographic agency and leading supplier of academic publications to libraries and institutions worldwide.
Established in 2000, Casalini Libri's Digital Division is dedicated to scholarly publishing in the digital age, managing the online publication, distribution and sale of digital texts from international publishing groups, university presses, research associations and highly specialized publishers. Particularly representative of scholarly publishing from Italy and the Vatican City, Spain and Portugal, thanks to our partnership with Erasmus Boekhandel Torrossa has evolved and expanded considerably in recent years, with important publishers from many other countries also joining Torrossa and allowing us to offer a wide selection of texts from: Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, the United Kingdom, Mexico, the United States, Switzerland, Canada and more.
