Freedom is always defined by its limits. The literary and linguistic space represent the ideal dimension of the awareness of these limits. The volume offers an overview on the concept of freedom within the limits of literary and linguistic expression that, with different methodological approaches, ranges from Renaissance to contemporaneity, from translation studies to sociolinguistics.
