... Mehr Les Nouvelles Éditions Sutton have maintained their historical editorial line, publishing mainly works of local, regional or national history.
“Mémoire en Images" is the oldest of the Maison's collections, which has allowed the publication of over 2000 books that retrace the local history (of the 19th and 20th centuries) of cities and villages in France. These works are elaborated by local authors from photographic archives (old postcards, family photographs, public or private funds, etc). The image occupies a preponderant space.
It is also available in thematic books (wars, great characters, transport, etc.), in complete studies of the 20th century (chronicle of a century) or of the Trente Glorieuses (1945/1975), and finally in titles published in some cities or regions elsewhere, in particular Algiers, Tunis, Madagascar, New Caledonia.
